Tour Coming Through

The Moscow Metro is an inexpensive, convenient, safe, and reliable way to get around the city. It is also a tourist attraction in its own right. A tour of the Metro is likely to include the elegent Mayakovskaya Station shown here. Designed by Alexei Dushkin and named after Russian poet Vladimir Majokovsky, this station won a Grand Prix at the New York World's Fair in 1938.
