Hilton Leningradskaya

The Hilton Leningradskaya, originally known as just the Leningradskaya Hotel, is one of the Seven Sisters of Moscow. The "Sisters" were designed in the Stalinist style to make Moscow a more impressive city after the war, but for some reason, only 19 of its 26 floors in this one are usable. We were on the 17th. We had looked forward to having the use of a swimming pool on our last night in Russa. Finding it in the basement it seemed rather dismal and claustrophobic. So, we passed on that.
